Me and my fishing partners caught three limits of trout, plus a mixed bag of bass, jacks, lizardfish, catfish, etc.
All of the trout were caught in 8 - 10 feet during the outgoing tide. We were dragging and hopping Gulp jigs; Zmann’s, some old Rip Tide shrimp imitations, and other plastics. Just about every color caught something. The bigger baits caught bigger fish. Our live baits were totally ignored and our jigs fished under a popping cork largely were ignored.
