Friday flats fishing

Post by sailcat »

I plan to take my Daughter fishing on the flats this Friday. Do you think this cooler weather will turn the trout off? Thanks!

My experience is fishing is off for a couple days after a cold front. By Friday should probably be a ok. Don't know if you don't go...

No. It takes a lot of rain flushing down the creeks or a drastic temperature change in the water to shut the bite down. You should be fine. There is a pretty drastic low tide Saturday morning at Aucilla, so be careful if you go early.
