Super cheap kayak

We found a kayak floating in the refuge yesterday. It was a really hi tide, so I guess it floated in. Curious, it was upside down with a big rock on top. I’ll take a 6 pack of old Milwaukee, 3 cans of Vienna sausages, a fighting rooster, or best offer for it

Made me laugh on the fighting rooster.
Score! Never know what treasure you will find out there.

It is ABSOLUTELY MY KAYAK. Sundolphin Bali SS 10ft sit on top. Paddle is bungee corded to the kayak, and orange life preserver attached. Blue rope on the front of it. That blue rope was looped around a green stake. It was in Cedar Creek, very close to the Deep Creek canal.
Is that enough detail to prove it is mine?
Thanks,
Gary

PS I put that big rock on it to keep it down in the mud. I should have used a ship anchor.

Of course it’s yours. Just having fun. She is where you left her, untouched.

O boy did I get pranked. Thanks, and I will probably move it even further back into the marsh. Hope high tide was good to you Saturday for fish bites. Outgoing was great in that area.

The stake is still there, you can see it in the pic. I guess we’ve passed it a bunch, never noticed but tide was super high. We didn’t do any good pushed back, but we whacked em out on the flats. Fished 3 hours, over a dozen upper and over slot reds and 3 good trout. We only threw one lure each, spoon and a subsurface plug. Some days they are biting, but Saturday, they were fighting over it.

You aren't the only one who can find a yak.

Henceforth, I'm going to start chain-locking mine to trees.

Do what you need to do, but I don’t think anyone is going to mess with it. I guess it didn’t help that you gave the location away on the internet.

Gary, I added my own industrial chains and locks to your kayaks. Please send $200 per kayak to receive each key to unlock for use.

I'd hide that sucker where no one could find it or lock it down with a heavy duty chain and put a "Private Property" sign on it explaining it was intentionally placed where it is. A lot of people might consider it abandoned and mistakenly believe they're entitled to keep an abandoned boat under salvage laws.
