Panacea Wind and white trout... Friday am.

Went yesterday AM and even though the forecast was for 5 mile an hour winds it was whipping.
Sunrise was fantastic though...

Running out we saw some lys popping top and stopped to cast into them. The specks and white trout were all under them.
As usual white gulp on a jighead was the ticket.
We were in about 7feet of water

We did catch 15 or 20 speckle trout but only a couple of keepers.
Too windy to enjoy fishing my hotspots :-)

Filleted them up at the dock and my friends family had dinner last night!

The Humane Society of the US certified no ducks were harmed during the making of this movie. :lol:

Nice report. I was out there in the vicinity and that wind was howling. Good job on the white trout, too. We used to whack 'em on a regular basis in Pensacola Bay.

Can you believe I saw a guy with a fly rod out there and all that wind :lol: :lol: :smt006
