If I'd had known I'd get to fish as much as I have this year, I'd have entered. Gary, did I run into to you at St Mark's the Thursday before the 4th? We were waiting on someone at the bathrooms before you get to the lighthouse.

STAR runs through October 4, 2020. Lot of fishing time remaining. This event is designed to be catch/photo release. But it doesn't preclude you from keeping the catch if it is legal and you want some fresh seafood. Just be sure to document it on the required rulers first for the verification.

I had a trout entry the first morning and lost a borderline red boat side. Need to start carrying the net again.

Hoping to get out soon, weather permitting.

We both fish mostly solo, which is a plus in terms of solitude, but a minus when you could use a net helper to get the big one aboard!
Next time I'll have to say hey, I was trying to think how I was going to word the email I was trying to send and when I finally sent it I saw you getting a bike out with a cast net and I figured it had to be you in the track shirt, of course my fishing partner decided to finish then.

I’ve been fishing some. 4 trout entries and 2 reds.
Just entering in open division. Been fun trying.
Have managed to log a 26” and a 24” trout. Not
Sure where those fish are when size matters.

That's funny.. I have the same barter system with the Warden. :-D If the wind is blowing tomorrow like it is today all my entries might have to be in the Trash Division.

That didn't work as planned. I think I jinxed myself! Dodged thunder boomers most of the morning and only managed 43 trout. 41 were short, 1 was too close to call and Jaws ate almost half of the only one that would have measured. :smt011 Still no STAR entries.
