We found some fish near the long sandbar, in between the channel and the sandbar. We used live shrimp on knocker rigs. The water temperature was 67, and the depth was 12’. We caught a mix of sand trout, speckled trout, grunts, and a 15” croaker. Almost all of the bites took place between 12:30 - 1:30. Sadly, none of the trout were legal sized...all were 12”-13”.

We went out also. We caught a few trout around the bars ( no reds). Ended up in 4 foot of water to the West and caught 6 nice keeper trout between 16 and 18 inches. The water was really dark and its temp was somewhere around 70. With the temp that high, trout should be heading on to the flats pretty shortly.
