Storing large plugs like Stretch 30s

How do you store these larger plugs - for safety and convenience?
While we're on the water I put them in some of those plastic rodholders at the stern. The front treble hook slides nicely into the groove. For storage I built an extra tackle station that holds plano boxes on the inside & extra rod holders on the back.. I can post photos next time I'm out on the boat.
