Had this bad boy smack a silver mullet skitter walk on Saturday. Fun fish !

Took the girls back out on Sunday. Put in at Econfina and ran down the coast to the Hatch for some scallops. They were very plentiful and everybody had a blast. Great weekend on the water.

It’s not bad maybe 45 minutes at about 30 to 35 mph. It could be faster or slower depending on the weather or if your in a hurry. Damn sure beats dealing with the mess at Keaton or the hatch.

Just out of curiosity as well, if you run down there to scallop and come back in to eky where is not open yet, does that post a problem with fwc if they check you?

Nice Snook! Did you catch him around the Ecofina area? I ask because there was a pic on here of a 30" snook caught at St Marks, and I know they have been caught around Aucilla. If you did, that is great!

Isn't that a recent change to the rule?

Not sure, a friend of mine just showed me this past Saturday. I haven’t made that many trips when it was open over there and not here that I can remember.
