Too rough for me

Tried to hit the snapper one last time yesterday.
Launched before 6 at Carrabelle to beat the crowd (barely) and headed out with a forecast of 1-2 ft seas. Stopped inside Dog Island to catch some pinfish and thought "hmm, kinda breezy. . ."
We headed out down-sea to about 80 ft. Stopped to fish a few times to have waves pushing us along and splashing over the stern. Finally gave up and slogged back in at 10 mph into 3-5 footers.
How'd y'all with the big boats do?
