Lots and lots of fresh water in the bay the water is pitch black dark

Went May it down there early this morning. It was beautiful but fishing was tough. Ended up with 7 trout and a flounder in our boat. Biggest was 21 inches caught very few shorts. The other boat a 8or 9 trout. We left about 4:30.
Water was very stained almost black. Could not find any grass. Fished from Hickory mound out to bird rack. Threw several baits but most fish caught on gulps.
My new to me boat did well. Four stroke sipped the gas wish my truck did the same.
It was a great day with my son and friends.

Going to let this weather calm down then I heading back down there.
My doctor said to eat more fish so I will be going for health reasons
