What are the big eyed white bellied fish on the flats at St marks? About a foot or more long. Caught 3, plus 4 keeper trout (should have been 6
) black fin, and plenty of cats.

They are actually good eating. Like all pufferfish if you avoid the gallbladder that holds the poison (or avoid all the guts in general) your good to go.Hit-n-Miss wrote:Send those tackle destroyers to Davy Jones locker!

I’ve heard both myself. I just stay clear of the guts in general. If I puncture anything I scrap it. Treat them like mullet with roe; go easy around the belly.onefishtwofish wrote:Gall bladder AND liver right?
