Trout still there

Went out Tuesday 10/4 to see if we could find a few trout after the great flush of the bay from Ian. Only saw two other boats all day, and those who could have gone and didn't missed a beautiful day and an opportunity to catch some quality trout. Water clarity was good, and not much floating grass. started at the shoreline and drifted out with the falling tide, bite was steady all day in 3 - 5'. Shrimp, cut bait and soft plastics all worked. Lots of bait in the water, pelicans were crashing down near all day.
