Sunday 4/14 report

Post by rebel10 »

Long time lurker first time poster:

Fished an unnamed boat ramp sunday morning with a couple friends. Found some decent water clarity. Good grass. Fished from 2.5ft out to 5.5. Handful of short trout in about 2 hours. Had 5 or 6 what i thought were better trout try to eat my plug but wouldn't really commit. Gave up on the trout about 10. Found reds on the bars and in the creeks. Biggest being 24". Did end up catching 2 keeper trout in the back of a creek while redfishing which i thought was weird. 19inch founder and a big sheepshead were a good bonus. Beautiful day caught plenty of fish but the trout have me confused.

Where did you find decent water clarity on Sunday? All the water I saw looked like coffee!
