Looking for dock pilings @ St Mark's

Hey all, I am looking for marine grade wood pilings to repair recent damage to my dock at St Mark's. Need +/- 12" diameter by 20-25' length. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Not sure if telephone poles will hold up in river water. Anyone have experience with that? I would entertain using some if so. I know hundreds were just replaced around Tallahassee but I can't locate any of those either. The specific marine dock pilings have to be ordered at a hefty price and wait. Hoping to find something local to Tally/ St Mark's that I can pick up. Figured I'd turn to the wise men of the forum! Thanks in advance for any feedback

Have you looked into PVC (filled with concrete) ? I am not sure if it is cost effective, but it might be more durable and more readily available.

Call gulfcoast lumber in woodville or Crawfordville, whichever is more convenient. One of the owners is a member here.

Will likely go the PVC/concrete route if I don't locate pilings this week. Gulf coast is on the list to check on. Thanks fellas

Spoke to a friend that builds docks. He said you can’t use telephones poles because they will get worms and only last a couple of years. There is a special treatment for marine pilings
