I am looking for any first hand knowledge of the blue wave hybrid 26 or 28’
I inshore fish around St. George island st Vincent to alligator. I like to run thru the pass on nicer days out to twenty miles. My 99 sv-2300 Seapro does it most days but the old 99 Johnson is getting where I need parts to keep it going and I can’t get them. Still has 95 plus on compression. So I can Repower or sell a running boat and buy a newer one. I really like the size of the 26-28 just not sure how I’m going to like speckled trout fishing outa that size boat on the flats. Has loads of storage and a head for my 80 year old mom who fishes with me a lot. Any real world experience from someone in our area who has fished or run one before I spend a hundred folds on a boat that just doesn’t float the two foot flats good. If you have a friend or someone u know please ask for me.

I think it’s fantastic that you still get to fish with your 80-year-old mother.

You’ve probably visited the website already, but if you haven’t, the hulltruth.com is a great website for information on different boats.

All I do is research. Hull truth. Facebook. Everywhere. What I’m taking away is that it’s hard to get one boat to do it all so I am Repower if my sv-2300 at big bend with new 250 sho this weekend. And I’ll have to look for an offshore boat that she can sit on her beanbag for the ride. A coffin type box on the front for her to sit on and use the elec reel we got her and the wife ( shoulder surgery ) from crum’s. Pool noodle on rod for where it hits boat. Hit that button and my mom giggles like a kid now. I guess I’ll look for something around 70-80 thousand, 25-28’ preferably a big single. A nice head under console for her. That’s what she wants on our inshore boat. Old bladders she says are hell. I found a pure bay in Texas with 35 hours for 109,000. Offered a hundred cash and was told to get lost. Just worries me that this hull manufacturer is outa business without a warranty I don’t want to give top dollar.
