And the site owners wonder why its dying i have always enjoyed starting my day seeing what others luck was lately but now no one seems to care would really like for it to be revived....i guess it gives the BOT,s something to do.

Message boards aren't what they used to be in general. Too much trouble to keep up with the patches when sites like Facebook are "free".

Plus if you look at the traffic on BBF nowadays its only worth about $150

I modified the settings so that the first post coming from newly registered users will need to be moderated before appearing on the forum.
Also cleaned up most of the obvious spambot content from the last month or so.

It's alive!!It's alive!! Looks like the site is back! Now I just need to go fishing and post a report.

If you happen to see old spambot posts (esp. the Russian nonsense!) still on this forum let me know. Looks like we've succeeded in forcing all new attempts to get stuck in the moderation queue. But if any lurking accounts got their foot in the door by posting months ago they would still have permission to post again if they decide to resurrect in the future. So I'll want to manually delete any remainders that successfully posted in the past.
