Well, not much to report. Water's hot and stained, and the fish seem to be on holiday. Managed a few nice reds on Friday at St. Marks around the oyster bars, including a 22 incher with no spots. Fishing the deep water for trout was tough with a solid wind. The wind/waves were better on Sunday at Spring Creek, but the luck wasn't much different. Like Tin Can wrote about his time Saturday at St. Marks, I saw the spanish crashing bait and got over there and immediately hooked up on ladyfish after ladyfish after ladyfish, then bluefish after bluefish . . . . It was fun, but no spannies or trout for the grill. My buddy did catch a really nice (24") spanish free-lining a live finger mullet mid-way between S. Creek and Mashes yesterday.

Not a lot of catchin, but two beautiful days on the water and I'm not complaining.

Didn't get any reds at the Creek. Caught 'em at St. Marks, no more than one in any spot. Fished the bar in front of the lighthouse, a few on the west side of the channel, and some over by East River. Used frimpf and also a gold spoon.
