Sorry this post is a bit late but I went with a friend to the Dog Island reef on Saturday and we caught all the spanish we wanted trolling little banana spoons up and down the sand reef off the island. Stopped at one limit between us because thats all we would eat. Stopped on the inside flat at Turkey Shoals to cast a little bit for trout and saw two tarpon 40-50 pounds. It's still a little early for them isn't it? I guess not this year.
