The flats were unfishable in the 25 kt wind, so we sat behind the near shore oyster bars and flung corks with live shrimp into the 3 foot water. Got one 18" trout, 3 reds @ 22", 21", and 17 3/4". It was my partner's first ever legal red and my first in 5 years so we were happy. Have not installed the trolling motor on the bay boat yet, so we stayed out of the creeks. The smoke from blackened red fish still lingers in the kitchen this morning.

Blue Wave 16 V-Bay, 70 hp yammie. Almost got the Carolina Skiff 17, but went with Blue Wave for the deep V bow, glad I did and saved $$, too.
