Fishing "Fall" months

I'm still pretty new to this club, and my computer skills 
but Im takin it one key at a time.. Im lookin for someone to fish w/ ?? I've spent some time fishing, but where should go if I want to catch some keepers ?? cause sure I ve fished alot, but "catching keepers" is the problem. I know october w/ water temp in the mid 70's is prime time 
..... I'm MAKO, my boat hence 17 1/2' Mako (78 edition), powered by 120 Johnson (98 edition), its got most all the bells & whistles... " but just like this computer", Im still learning how to operate at an optimum level. The engines a two-stroke , and on a good day Ill get 2 mls per gal & with only a 30 gal tank, my outings are limited. So if your boat gets better milliage ... Id be happy to $$ on the gas, & Ill even help clean-up... Hey Im not lookin for any free lunch, I just love fishing !! 
Another thing, I believe in the philosphy (excuse my spelling) of knowing the person before he climbs in your boat. This might be "TMI" (to much information) but I have an Ostomy.. do you know what that is ? its a medical thing. its something Ive had 15 or so years, so Im pretty much able to ajust and/or adapt to the situation.
