Fishing Sunday, Oct 17, 2004

Post by arcadiainc »

Morning All!--Am thinking about loading my 12' aluminum boat (the Viking Queen), and my firebreathing 2.5hp Johnson and going to Saint Marks Sunday morning (along with my wife and assorted house hold appliances) for a day's fishing. I do not expect much other that a day around (on) the Gulf. Any ideas concerning where to fish, what to fish for, weather report etc? I feel a large anchor may be in order. I would appreciate your observations.

I would try a SOB around the oyster bars for reds and various other critters...

With that setup, I would put in at the Lighthouse and fish the Oyster bars to the right of the ramp access creek :-D The Reds and Trout SHOULD be moving into the river or staging at the mouth anytime now  Both the Navy and NOAA agree that the water and winds should be nice on Sunday

Thanks Flats!

Now if you could tell me if the fish were going to bite, when, where and on what I'd be good to go :) Have a good weekend!
