Headed out about 11:30 yesterday. Fished the flats for a couple of hours. No serious action. Ended up with one 19 inch trout, one spanish, one blue, and a catfish. Seemed to be several pockets of Spanish or blues but they were moving alot and seemed to be very spread out. Kind of hard to keep up with; especially once the wind and waves started kicking up. I tried to do a little exploring. Since I've had my boat, I've pretty much stuck to one area. I headed over to Ochlockonee Bay. I could use some advice navigating the channel. I tried following the markers but must have done something wrong. I ended up along a shoal and some really shallow water. Luckily, isn't doesn't take much for my boat to float and I turned around and headed back out. Any advice for the rookie??

Use a map GPS mark these spots you find and keep exploring. I've been out there 50 years and find something new(or some things forgotten) every trip.
Good luck,stay safe. :)
