It was a tough day. The river was fogged over until 0830. Couldn't run to my spot. However, we picked an outside bend and started fishing. My partner caught his only keeper of the day on his second cast. When the fog lifted I ran to my favorite spot on the river. Fished it from 0900 till1300. 1 Keeper. Moved back to an outside bend. We both caught several shorts. Then, finally, I landed my second keeper of the day at 1405. It weighed 4.86 pounds. That was the last keeper we caught. Todays winner had 5 fish weighing 8.54 pounds. My two fish, weighing 5.92 pounds, was good enough for second place.

This was the last tournament for the year. Guess I'll have to chase saltwater fishies for the next couple of months. :-D
