It was a little chilly and a little rough this morning. There was only 1 tide cycle here today.High tide was at 0130 this morning. Low tide was at 1230 this afternoon. So, conditions were not the best. We found a sheltered area and started drifting about 0800. Fished until 1200. We caught 2 keeper flounder, 1 keeper spanish, and one 3+ pound sheeps head. All were caught on a bottom fished 1/4 oz. jig and an electric chicken grub.

Gonna try a little earlier in the morning, then head back to Tally.

I think I', gonna cry. I'm sitting here, on the back deck, having an afternoon tea, and looking at the sound. It's slick as glass. However, we're at a dead low negative tide. Maybe it'll be calm in the morning. I would post a picture, but I didn'y bring my cable to download my camera.

It has been tough, sitting on the deck, sipping an adult beverage, and looking at the wqater, every afternoon.Living on the water would not be a good thing. My wife couldn't afford it.

Too bad you don't have more time. There is a park nearby that is really pretty, you can see Alabama, I think, from the edge of the park. Highly recommended:

DB, all of the parks in this area are closed. They've been mostly destroyed.

SW4M, I don't drink while I'm fishing. But, when the host keeps freshening my drink in the evenings...................well, what's a good guest to do?
