Hey y'all!

I'm going to b staying on St. George Island over the holiday, and wondering what to expect. My gig is fly fishing, particularly for trout (as in salmonoids), but have been tinkering with saltwater most of my life... I'll be bringing everything from medium-light spinning tackle to 12' surfcasters... and a couple of 9-wt's...

Any tarpon showing in the area yet? What's in the Surf? I'm particularly intrigued with the backwaters, as that's the only type of redfishing I've done (but on the OBX).

Any and all tips greatly appretiated, e-mail me if you feel better about it (I have tight lips) psychofisher@hotmail.com. Will happily trade SE rainbow/brown/brookie or MI steelhead/salmon tips!

Thanks cap'n! I'll have a small boat, but prefer to wade... main reason for boat is that if I'm lucky enough to get into a silver we can chase him! hehehe

BTW.... do the cobia ever get inshore in that region? I the bays at all?

Thanks again.
