Keaton - 12/3 & 12/4

Hey all - been reading quite a bit and thought I would finally throw my 2 cents in...
Fished out of Keaton last Friday and Saturday. Started out Friday in a spot we had caught them 2 weeks before near Yates Creek. We fished hard all day and struggled to get 8 keepers between the two of us. Probably only caught 30 trout all day long. Saturday, we woke up to some light rain. By the time we made it out of the canal, the rain had stopped and it was smooth as glass riding out. We headed up just beyond Spring Warrior. We cut the motor and by the time I get my lure tied on, my brother has 2 keepers. We made 2 drifts through the area and had our limit by 9:30. We caught our fish on wieghtless flukes and catch 2000's. It was overcast and calm until we left at 2. We ended the day catching 32 keeper sized fish and approx. 60 shorts. Water was very stained. With it being so calm you could see trout coming up and feeding on the surface at various times. Most every time we cast to one of them, we brought one in.
Turned out to be a good trip to wind up my fishing season.
