It was a hard & rough ride out to OAR2K. We rode through 2's & 3"s with an occasional 4' or 5 thrown in'. Mako had to wear his rain suit for the ride. I ducked down behind the console for the occasional "spray". The 40 degrees felt like 15 degrees at 20 mph, it made my eyes water and face burn. Water temp was 59, wind seemed a steady 15 from the north. After we reached OAR2k wind slowed and the gulf laid down really nice. Trolled some good bottom and found our ceremonial lizard fish, but nothing else. Ran back to Rotary and visited with some folks in another boat. They weren't catchin either so we gave up. The weather in the afternoon defied the forecasts winds 5mph and the seas were at "pond" conditions.

Well, Mako/MJ- Now ya know how them Gloster fisherman feel on the ride out. Sorry 'bout the 'no cigar' trip.
'Had to go with 'What's her name' looking for ducks and stuff at SMWR Saturday morning. It was a nice day for it. We didn't see any rare birds, but did see a white (albino) black bird.
I would have rather been with you guys, catchin' no fish, but don't tell her that.

Mako and Mjsigns I think we pulled out at the same time. My buddy Ryan and I were in a 17ft Carolina skift. Did yall talk a couple of guys loading up their boat when yall got to the ramp to pull out...if so that was us. Next time hopefully we'll talk more!!!

Hey that was you, and we were talking  Yall have a really nice looking rig   Mako Liked your Yammi.

We did pull some keeper rock bass off the bottom near OAR, but we did the old catch & release routine. I feel sorry for them rock bass for some strange reason...:smt102

What is really interesting is that last night when Me & Mako were working on replacing my bunks, I had to use a binch of "duct tape" to wrap the sprockets inside one of the older keel rollers on my trailer. I was thinking I was the "duct tape king" :smt042

Good Seein' you guys-
