Any out there have the batteries under the deck, mine are at the rear failrly close to the bildge. I am thinking of moving them to under the console but not sure. There is alot of stuff with the Batt switch and batt charger.

Think balance. Think what you may give up in space under the console. I have 2 trolling motor batteries under the console, but, I did not have a choice of where to pur them.

I wouldn't want my batteries that close to the bilge. If it starts filling then you won't have power to call on the radio. My batteries are located in the stern in one of the compartments. It makes it easy to get to them and they will be the last thing to go under in case I start taking on water.

Going to have to invest alot of wire and time, unless you pay someone else to do the work. When they designed the boat, do you think they thought about this same stuff? There may be a reason the bateries are in the stern. I would think that they are located back there to keep your bow up and the stern down. AS long as your bow is facing the waves, keeping the bow up might keep more water out in bad conditions.....This would be good question for and engineer

Got one dedicated cranking battery at the stern. one battery under the console for all electronics, and one in the bow for trolling motor.
