So, I bagger Tom for weeks on penciling in a date between Christmas and the New Years for our annual trip to our "honey hole" at the stained Fenholloway river....Well the date is made and rendezvous is arranged…..
What are the tides?
2004-12-29 09:51 EST -0.48 feet Low Tide
2004-12-29 16:19 EST 2.67 feet High Tide
Doesn’t look bad does it? Well we launch and head out the river…Tom forgets his sunglasses, turn around back to the truck……We comment and say wonder what a negative 1.5 tide looks like as we make our way to the mouth….Arrive at the mouth to witness what I can only call a mine field of hazards, the “Rock Gardenâ€

First, I'm glad to see you got Tom on the water. I thought he had quit fishing.
Looks like your effort payed off. That's a lot of work to catch a fish.
Y'all done good.

Excellent and entertaining report. TK, we all know a picture is worth a thousand words. But in the same breath, I will say, Chalk, the the write up was entertaining too. Like RB and probably others, my first thought was this guy Chalk, can really walk on water- How cool is that??
Sounds like you two had a nice day and a good catch..
