I just had a T-top put on my boat and I am looking for some input about running wiring from the antennas. I can either run the wires inside the posts down to the console (there is a direct connection into the console) or run them down the outside of the posts and then into the console. My concern is drilling a hole in the top of the post to run the wires on the inside could possibly allow water to enter the console and play havoc with the electrical connections in the console.

How do you have your wiring run on your t-tops?

P.S. Yancie and the guys at Gulf Coast Fabricators did a great job! This t-top is built like a tank.

use rubber gromets most of come with the size drill to use for that size of gromet.....once you pull the wire through it will be water tight......make sure you use a file in the hole to get the burs out and sharp edges.....just my 2 cents bin their and done it before....
