Is there an aftermarket T&T motor for outbords? I have a 40 hp w/o t&t, and wonder if it possible to rig it up with t&t?

Wevan is that the same model you have?
Why did you only use it two times?
Will it work on a long shaft Nissan?
I may be interested in yours.

I was stupid enough to think I could work on a Force motor and keep it running long enough to make the money spent worth it

The motor got throwed and the T&T got put in the shop as a reminder of my folly

It is a PT-135 and has all cables and controls
Chalk: the 35 is for 35HP and below

OK I get it now "mustta been thinkin slow yesterday"

I think that the 35 and below have a smaller mounting carrige than the 40 and up "but I can't swear to it"

Wevans, you are correct about the smaller mount bracket. Also, the CMC 35 is not nearly as sturdy a unit as the larger unit.

It's not that much..it's more a weight and torque issue.....I had this same discussion with JEM a few weeks ago with my boat project....Example 40 hp 2 stroke and a 40 hp 4 stroke...which one weights more? If it won't fit that's different....But if it will, what is 5 hp?

Thanks for the info guys. This has got me wanting to keep the 40hp Nissan.
Wevans I want to talk to you about that trim motor you have.
Looks like my quest for a bigger flats boat is still on!
