loran conversions

:D I need to find the simplest way to convert some of my old Loran waypoints to GPS coordinates. Help!!!!

The simlpest and the ONLY accurate way is to use Loran to go to the spot, then punch it into the GPS :-D If you use a conversion, you will be off by as little as 100 foot or as much as 1/2 a mile and you will not know in which dirrection your off in neither :smt009 :beer:

Do you have a Garmin GPS, my 162 will convert, otherwise use Posaid! or Seahag Marina

that has been a topic quite a few times here, you might try doing a search and looking up some old threads , but i think the best way and for sure most accurate is keep your loran and go to your spots then enter it in your GPS. Anything else as far as i've heard or seen is just not that accurate. frank

Get a GPS76 to carry with ya, punch em in as you go to em :-D
