Did not even put the boat in the water. Bought my daughter 1 dozen shrimp and she fished off our dock. Final count: 5 trout (4 keepers) and 1 huge catfish. Everything off the bottom and near high tide. About 2 fish a day average.

Still not a bad way to spend the time with my daughter.

I'm fishing in O-Bay rain or shine Thursday. Your report wasn't very encouraging, but it will still be better than work.

Too bad trout season is closed  . At least your daughter got to catch some fish  . I bet that was fun for her.

Did not mean to imply we kept the trout, only that they were of the size we might have kept, if they were in season.

  Hey, I thought it was a dang good report, considering you were fishing off a dock and some of us didn't do that good from boats when the season was still in. Keep try'in, and maybe a big o'l red will hit those shrimp!! :-D
