Squeezed in a half day trip. Started out in 35 feet with only shorts. Worked out to 60 feet, anchoring on about a half dozen spots. Bite was slow until the current picked up late. Boxed 4 gags and one red to 26" on LY's. Lots of grunts and bass around, one legal red snapper in 35 ft, released. Caught a record five octopi, should have relieved them of a tentacle or two for bait but didn't. Water temp 56 degrees in close, 60 degrees in 60 ft, fair clarity. Low tide 9:30 am, 10 kt south wind, seas 2 ft. Nice day.

Good show SB. Sounds like about the same as with my neighbor did, day before yesterday- 4 gags and a few grunts and one octipus.
A question for ya- Is it legal to keep the octopi? I heard they maked good grouper bait.
