Well I wanted to do some trolling motor swapin with TC, but had to give the electronics back to the big boat seeins how it will be on the water soon. Put a Lowrance LMS-337c DF GPS map/sonar combo, pretty cool havin color graphics also made the wife happy and installed a Poly-planer sterio system, never had music on a boat so I guess that will be cool to. Thanks for listenin because everybody around here is tired of hearin bout boats n fishin.

Music can be really nice during slack tide or on a dead low waiting for the water to move. I have a personal preference for classical, but bringing the boom box is just one more item to stumble over, or accidently break.....

Ya gotta have tunes. I think it helps catch fish as well. I read an article in Florida Sportsman about 15 years ago called "bassing for bass". The author had always believed that the noise would spook the fish but he ran across a teenager with a boom box on the bow of a jonboat and tried to stay away from him because of the racket. The kid kept waving at them and finally caught them. He wanted a scale to weigh the bass he had caught, needless to say, both were over 10 lbs... I have also heard stories of billfisherman mounting large sub woofers to the hulls of their boats claiming it produced fish. All I really know is that off Cedar Key stations from Tampa come in better than any local ones, so a good antenna is in order. I may be a bit younger than the average member on this board, but times of no fish can be alot of fun when the females are aboard and the dancing and cutting up starts...
