Got the boat on the water, wanted a little shake down cruise and
maybe wet a line. Left shield's about 10 am tried several spots along the river
couple short snappers and a sheeps head. Very little to show for the day, except
enjoyed my son and wife and glad everything worked.
Good news, water temp 66.8 to 67.3, springs almost here.

Ive got plans set for Sat and the wife & kids will be stayin in town to see the Siminoles...My freezer as well as my stomach need FISH!!

What kind of rig were you using, and what'd ya use for bait?

I was using small circle hooks with a couple split shots and live shrimp.

Glad you got out I am in the process of changing oil and plugs and hope to get out in the next few weeks....

Until then work, work work. I am headded to Minniapolis next week perhaps I can do some ice fishing .... Not.
