Alright ya'll. I be the nubee. Been fishin fresh water for 45 years. I had my first productive in-shore salt experience last May and have been hooked (get it?) ever since. I even bought "a bigger boat" which isn't saying much since my other is a 10' aluminum jon with a 1963 3hp Johnson.

Here's the deal, I need numbers and/or locations, secret baits, depths, lucky rabbit feetses, correct mouth positioning when casting, and etc. Even better, if you wanna show me where the fish are, bait my hook (using your bait of course). and chunk it for me...I'll do the rest.

I 've been knowin Tin Can for years and I'm lookin forward to chattin and meetin with the rest of ya'll.

Well.... if you've know TC that long, I'm not sure we can do anything for you. :o (sort like a terminal condition I'd suspect!)

But if your willing to start all over and pay attention, I'll bet you'll learn something from Wevans or Jumptrout or Chalk or Tom .... so I guess there's still hope :-D By the way...welcome to the forum :D

Howdy, stick around & learn most anything you need to about fishing around here. I really suggest putting in a search on various topics. There have been a lot of really good topics discussed at length here.

Don't feel too bad if Ms.SS out fishes you. DixieReb has the same trouble sometime. :P What he does to correct the problem is reposition the boat so that he is in the strike zone. He thinks he is pulling one over on me but I have figured it out. :smt013 We look forward to meeting you and everone else Saturday.

Yo SS, welcome aboard from the peanut gallery.
I don't know how, I missed this thread, but I did.
If you were at the 'gatherin', I mighta met you, so don't hold it against me for acting like, I didn't. I met so many good folks, it was hard to keep up with who was who. I did introduce myself to at least one person twice. No doubt, he's wonderin', if I must be a little tetched.

Here's ya a grouper number 29.38.38 N 84.36.16 W
It came off the bathroom wall at the C Quarters in Carrabelle. 'Said, "try this hole, ya might catch somethin".
If you get out there before I do, let me know, if it's any good..
