..aint in 40' of water. Put in at Shields at 08:30, fished some 30' holes SW of there, nothing but shorts.
Fished numerous deeper holes all the way to in front of Alligator Pt., nothing but shorts.
Never got deeper than 40'. By the reports, looks like we were at least 10' to shallow.
By the way, it got rough. Was not a fun ride back to the hill this afternoon.
I'm starting to wonder why I punish myself getting skunked offshore!

Rocket-
You tried, and that counts. Next trip you'll make up for it..
Me and Mako watched an armada of boats headed out this morning.
Did you happen to see Marker #24? I heard (on channel 16) that it had completly sunk below the water surface.....

MJ, I was wondering where it was. My friend thought I was crazy when I told him we were supposed to have passed a big marker. I sure hope it's on the bottom, and not lukring right under the surface!
DS, I heard 50' to 60'', but I have no #'s there so we stayed around 40+ ft, hoping they would be there.

At least you tried.

Were you in your pathfinder? what was the allowable cruising speed in 3-4's?

WF4F,
We were in my boat. Probabally ran 25 mph the whole way from Alligator Pt. to St. Marks. Seas were a good 2 to 3 with some 4's mixed in. Boat handled fine, but it wasn't fun.

Shucks Rocket, you just picked a bad day to go.
I had to go to the Chili cookoff with 'Wat'ser name'. If it hadn't been for the bare bellied babes

, I would have rather been out on the rough water givin' it a shot..
How ya gonna know, if ya don't go..??
