trailer for canoe

Our annual two week sojourn at Alligator Point begins Friday night. I like to fish from my canoe while the family does their thing. I don't like to cartop a 16 foot, 90 lb. canoe by myself. Last year I was able to rent a trailer, but have had no luck this time. Does anyone have suggestions for obtaining a small trailer, a "gheenoe trailer" for a couple of weeks? I am willing to rent or to buy if the price is right enough to leave the thing with the relatives.
