Hit the water about 8 AM, and had to hunt hard, but found 'em about 12:45. 7 keepers, 15.5-21" south of Dog Head in 5.5' of water. For a minute or two, it was fast and furious, but shut off as quickly as it started when a family of dolphin showed up. Water temp hit a high of 62.8* on the way in. 42 miles on the GPS, but it was good to run the motor and get rid of the old gas. Good day with Dad.

About halfway between Keaton and nine-mile bank. I heard you and Short Strike on the radio, and actually started off up at Adams Beach, then Yates Creek before heading further south.

We did not catch anything until it turned on, nor did we after they turned off. I observed that the fish were still schooled up in a small, deep hole, and we made several fast drifts across the hole, catching 2-3 each time. Never anchored up, cause flipper and his family showed before we could. Maybe by next weekend, if we get some warmer weather, it'll be on.
