Saturday Morning was not any good.....
Put in at the fort at 3am thinking I'd beat the wind for a few hours...:smt012
Groped my way down the river running via GPS.
Ran down to the other side of Black Rock...
1- short Trout, 1- Spanish, and 1 big gaff-top...

Once the sun rose the wind kicked in to 15-20...nasty...:smt013
Many other boats maybe 15-20 joined me in the same area.
I gave up and ran back to the hill and was home by 11am...

I had a much better day that this poor fellow..... :-D

'Preciate the report, MJ. Sorry to hear ya had a less than good day, but as we all say, good to be out there, anyway..

Hope the guy had his seatbelt on. :o Probably the aftermath of a late evening, alcohol induced, statement of- 'Ahh come on, let's go for a ride'..

MJ

My Sunday wasn't much better than your Saturday. The weather was better tho.

Launched from LH 9 am went west to Patty Isl. fish east of Pattys, fished straight out front of Pattys, fished the wet stakeline, near channel, Grey Mare, down about 1.5 mi east of GM. Fished in close, mid range, deep. Used artificials of all types and live shrimp. Left the water around 5 pm.

Total for the day (three people) - 5 keeper trout and maybe 18 shorts.

Disappointing day for fish totals but always great to be out and have no problems or breakdowns! Pity the driver in that pic.

Looking for better days to come.
