Got to the Lighthouse about 9:30 with my wife for a day of catching,
BUT, the big motor would not fire and the no-see-um where.
Decided to use the trolling motor around the area see what we could do.
Well...
Image
Caught about 10, 4 were keepers to 18, wife out fished me 3 to 1.
Everything on CT and jigs, would not touch just shrimp like last weekend.

Still a great day with my lady. Wind sure picked up about 1pm, Charging the batteries now, Got an appointment to fix boat on Wednesday, fingers crossed.

It would crank, and a couple of times it seemed to catch, but no go.

I thought maybe flooded, but a guy at the ramp said it wasn't getting gas,
I could see and smell it.

I tried a couple times during the day also, so I think flooding wasn't it.

WTG, rx fisher. I think we passed each other in the canal today. You were going out, I was coming in. I was in a olive drab xpress aluminum boat with a poling platform.

Story sounds familiar from a couple of weeks ago...except we didn't have the luck with the fish. Nice looking catch. Any word from Greenbone on the Greenbone?

Sorry bout the motor thing, but ya didn't let it ruin your whole day. That was a pretty good catch, considering the situation.
