Need help! I try to always wash down and dry all plugs well before putting them away in tackle boxes. Never fails, next time out seems like rust has creeped in again. Anybody got any advice on a remedy for this.

Get some reel magic and spray them down with it before you put them up.

My brother and I take a gallon plastic jug filled with fresh water. Everytime we change lures we put them in the fresh water. When we get back we rinse them again and put them in front of a box fan to dry.

I started this year throwing my tackle in a bucket instead of back in the box...Then when I get home I put it in the sink with some dish detergent mixed in....slosh it around a bit and then rinse well under the faucet.....I then let it dry on the counter and hit it with some Reel Magic also...makes hooks look like new...

Thanks Sundown, I've been rinsing good gut no reel magic. I'll have some tonight. I've seen it at Bass Pro. Does Walmart carry it?

Most Wal-Mart stores carry Reel Magic.
