went to the st Joey peninsula, with family fri-sun, for a camping trip.went out Saturday morning with husband 0500 with fresh sand fleas and cut bait, no luck but catfish for hours, man 20 yards down beach caught pompano at about the first bar out, went in took a break put sun screen on kiddos, went back without hubby for a while, went out to the first sandbar, waded Thur6 foot water to bar, ended up catching pompano after pompano, in next 1 hr or so caught 6 pompanos, on sand-fleas and fish bites(yellow, lime,orange),hubby came back and we had double hookup, great weekend,, happy happy mothers day. great trip, new nick name, calling me pompanoooooo :smt006 :smt005
when the water warms see me at the beach or bay, yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, loving hubbie, and kids
