I too got stuck in those so-called 1-2 foot seas on Sat. Sat at the marina for a couple of hours hoping it would lye down. It didn't...so I decided to try some new spots out of the wind. Didn't find much; but, got one good bite and landed this fellar...25". Called it a day.
Would have taken a couple of better pictures but my camera batteries croaked.

It's my new calming technique. I've heard hold the fish on its side or upside down...I just knock him out with the smell.
