Very nice! Sounds like Jumptrouts report.
What about the 30+ that got away?
Sorry Jump but you gotta know you'll get abuse for "the one that got away" story. Even if it was a 50.

The O is the Ochlocknee :-D we was fishin in front of the last Oyster bar going out "in front of Bald Point", depth was 2.5 to 3.5 foot and lots of Spanish hitting the bait in the channle "around 18 foot" :-D
FYI, the deep part of the channle in that area is no where near the channle markers  hope ya'll can get out there and catch some of em also

Thanks for the trip, Walden. Unfortunately, that was the best news of the week, as you know the wind howled and it rained almost every day.

Those must have been Wevans' trained pet trout, cause it was some of the only ones that I managed there all week... Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Even got skunked on Saturday, but I was not alone in that experience.

Mrs. iknownuthin did manage a nice 29" red on Thursday morning. Quite an experience trying to stay off the oyster bars and land the red in a howling wind. We did it however. :smt007

Thanks for everything, Walden. Teresa was dead on with the dining recommendations, and I really appreciate the tips on fishing the Ochlockonee Bay area. The hard bottom tripped me up, and the fishing was tough, but I can definitely say I will be back!
