My wife and I were at the marina filing a plan and checking the radar @ 6:45. Radar showed little and we were fishing in front of Adams beach shortly there after. Weird tide, low supposedly 6:45 but plenty of water, and just like I figured, no water movement no fish. Drifted all the way in to the beach took about an hour and nothin but 1 short trout. By then the tide had turned we went back out on the flats in 5ft and started picking up some shorts and 2 keepers. But as most of you expeirienced Sat. here came the rains. So we begrudingly left that spot and ran to the markers and waited it out. Sat there with a lot of other boats for 30 mins and watched the weather move inland. After that we ran south (because it was clear that way) around the Keaton birdrack. Stayed in that area the rest of the day because it was boogary looking back toward the Yates creek area where we really wanted to be. It was slow but we managed 8 nice keepers by about 1:00pm when we headed in. At least it was cool and overcast and we didn't get burnt up by the sun. All in all it still beat workin and we ate fish Sat. nite.

We were out there too. It was WAY rough out past a few miles. You probably saw us running in about noon. Cuddy cabin with a blue top, 4 PO'd people aboard. We caught a remora and a few pinfish and a trout that went 14.5. Then we pulled into the gas station and I proceded to pump 20 gallons of gas into the rodholder. I thought only old people did that. :smt010

Can't recall seeing a boat like that.

My rod holders won't come close to holding $20 worth of gas.
