Fishing the Flats Tomorrow?

Still new to this game on the flats....

Can anyone tell me if the fishing is typically better, worse or no different the day after a storm?

If the wind dies down pretty soon how long before the water will begin to settle down?

Are there better baits, methods or depths to fish following a storm?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Probably going to take a day or three for things to settle down....Probably take longer for the water clarity to improve....Try lures that make noise or put a vibration out (spinner baits, topwater, Cajun Thunder, etc)

It's worth a try, but you will probably need to travel 7-8 miles east of the Lighthouse to find some decent fishing, and then you will likely run into schools of shorts. Keepers may be found fishing jigs in 6'-8' of water on the rising or falling tide.

Like Chalk said, anything noisy and shiny. I say try everything till you find something that they will bite. :-D
