License?

Do you need a special license to spearfish? I'd like to try pole spearing Sheepshead in St. Marks
Just your regular fishing license. There are different rule pertaining to spearing for certain species (e.g. no trout, redfish, etc), but you'll be fine spearing for sheepshead. They're what I started out on. Just a warning though: Once you shoot a fish, hook and line isn't nearly as fun.jnelson789 wrote:Do you need a special license to spearfish?
