My buddy(aka BreamReaper) had called and said he was going to be in town for the weekend and wanted to wet a line, so as the schedule permitted, we set up a 1/2 dayer for sunday. I left out of Orange beach around 5 am, with visions of red snappers on my mind. The gulf side looked slick, due to the shifty wind coming out of the NE, but by the time I launched at ft. morgan it was a different story :? I shot across to lil' bg hole to pick him and the Mrs up and told them to hold on 'cause it was going to be a rough one....by the time we got to the bar we were all three wet as flounders cup of ice water, it was definitely one of the roughest days I had been out all year. We headed SE with a flat of pogies and a couple dozen croakers. By now the wind was kicking out of the SE pretty good and so were the waves, it was solid 3's, and that don't make a fun ride in the bay boat...tried a couple of rigs and the Reapdaddy caught a couple of the largest white trout I've seen this year, sorry guys didn't take pics of them, but they were both around the 2, 2+ lb. mark. Bounced around to a couple of more rigs and the reaper got this little fella....

then a couple of blues

and then the Mrs. hooked up on her first king, it's a lil' schoolie, but I think it gave her a run for the money....
